Well done to the faculty and students who place the CJC in the academic spotlight

Recently, quite a few of our faculty and students have placed the College in the academic spotlight.

Juan-Carlos Molleda (with Sarab Kochhar and Christopher Wilson) has an article in the Public Relations Review:Tipping the balance: A decision-making model for localization in global public relations agencies.

A paper by Yu-Hao Lee (and Robert Wells) has won 2nd place in the Gene Burd Competition, the top faculty paper competition for AEJMC. Their manuscript, “Online collective action as group identity performance: Extending the strategic side of SIDE,” also has been accepted for presentation at this summer’s annual AEJMC Conference in San Francisco.

An article by Cynthia Morton (and Sun-Young Park), “The Role of Regulatory Focus, Social Distance, and Involvement in Anti-High-Risk Drinking Advertising: A Construal-Level Theory Perspective,” has been published in the Journal of Advertising.

Jon Morris (with Ilyoung Ju, Jong Woo Jun, and Naa Dodoo) has an article in the Journal of Marketing Communications: “The Influence of Life Satisfaction on Nostalgic Advertising and Attitude toward a Brand.”
