UF Journalism Advisory Council 2013 Scholarship Award

The 2013 UF Journalism Advisory Council Scholarship Award application period is open through Nov. 20, 2012.

The application process is open to juniors and seniors (with at least one additional semester remaining before graduation) in the journalism department who have at least a 3.0 grade point average and have completed at least one internship (paid or for-credit) at a print or digital news organization.

Please include in the application packet a persuasive cover letter that relates how you will apply digital skills in helping shape your career goals; current contact information, degree sought and projected graduation date, an updated resume including all internships and journalism-related jobs, and 4-6 samples of your best work.

Up to two $500 awards will be made at the discretion of the scholarship award committee. The recipient(s) will be notified by Dec. 27 by Anne Saul, Council Chair. The award(s) may be used by the recipient at his/her discretion.
